FREEDOM, Another Self-Sufficient Goal Met….

Yes, I did it, another milestone met. Let me explain how I did it, the tools you’re going to need, and the mind-set your going to need to understand in order to get there.

So today, I am pleased to tell you that I have no more real debt. No credit cards to compile interest every month, no truck payments anymore, and I am on my way to complete freedom. I didn’t hit the lotto, inherit a bunch of money or find some gold. I did it step by step using a program.

It is true, homesteading can cost a lot of money. But there is a balance in keeping your cost down, and still live a comfortable life. You might not be able to run around in shorts in the house in winter, you might not keep up with the trendy family in town, you might have to decide how to do without.

I followed the steps of the Dave Ramsey program, Financial Peace. I gave myself an allowance, I didn’t spend on unnecessary items and as always, I make the best out of what I have instead of finding reasons to buy more stuff that I don’t really need…..

This has been the second best decision I have made on my path to being self-sufficient. I am going to post a link for you to follow so that you can get the program and get started today….

  1. Love Dave Ramsey and love the success of financial freedom. Thanks for the blogpost. I too am beginning my movement to a self sufficient, self sustaining lifestyle. 20 acres, 600 square foot cabin with wood stove and a 40 x 90 pole barn are a great start.

What do you think?
